HUMAN RIGHTS

This programme area promotes and protects the dignity of the human person by enhancing access to justice on equal basis and strengthening mechanisms for full implementation of local, national and international human rights instruments.

 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

This programme empowers the youth for self reliance and optimum contributions to nation building. It identifies and develops youth potentials for sustainable development. 

AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

The agric development programme strengthens food security amongst vulnerable populations while alleviating poverty through commercialized farming initiatives.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

The women development programme improves the quality of life and rights situation of women through equity-based interventions that facilitate development of women on equal basis with men.

PEACE BUILDING AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

The programme strengthens mechanisms for forestalling violence, improves communities’ capacities to effectively manage conflicts and strengthens resilience to impacts of conflicts.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The programme improves disaster preparedness and improves capacities for effective management of emergencies within communities. It also boosts resilience of victims of emergencies and disasters

GOOD GOVERNANCE

The governance programme strengthens mechanisms for positive impact of governments on needs of poor and disadvantaged populations through constructive engagements between citizens and leadership.

WATER AND SANITATION

The Water and sanitation programme improves the quality of life of poor citizens by strengthening their access to sufficient safe water. It also aims to reduce incidence of water, sanitation and hygiene related diseases and epidemics while empowering community women and youths to utilize water resources for wealth creation.

POVERTY REDUCTION

This programme reduces the incidence and burdens of poverty amongst vulnerable populations particularly women and youth in remote rural communities.
