Initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health in 1992 and celebrated on every 10th October, World Mental Health Day is a day set aside for global health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma.
This year's theme, "Mental health is a universal human right," reaffirms the belief that mental well-being should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. The theme highlights the importance of promoting mental health as a fundamental human right.
Today, on this special day, and indeed as always, FJDP joins the global community in promoting a world where everyone's mental health is valued, respected, and protected.
Let's come together to build a healthier and happier future for all!
