FJDP join the rest of the world today 21st March in Commemorating the world Forest Day 2023 with the Theme: FORESTS AND HEALTH
The forest has so much benefits than we can imagine.
Have you ever written in a book? Do you even drink water? Have ever taken medicine to get well? Do you even live in a house? All the above mentioned have one or more connection with the forest.
Narrowing it to this year's theme Forests and Health, the forest purifies the water we drink, cleanse the air we breathe, captures carbon to fight climate change, provide food and life saving medicines and improve our general well-being.
We are all encouraged on this internationally recognised day of forest to as much as possible try to safeguard the forest community by ending the unsustainable consumption and production patterns that jeopardize our forests but rather, we should plant trees in our environments.
