Unveiling Hope: FJDP's Essential Food Distribution at Uikpam Camp Supported by Hungary Helps.
In a significant display of compassion, FJDP Nigeria , in collaboration with Hungary Helps - Magyarország segít , inaugurated a crucial phase of essential food distribution at the Uikpam Camp in Guma local government area, Benue State.
650 households experienced a moment of relief as they received vital food items, addressing their immediate hunger needs.
The atmosphere at the camp radiated with joy as the IDPs, often confronted with food insecurities, embraced this timely assistance.
The Vicar General Pastoral, Revd Fr Moses Iorapuu, representing the Bishop of Makurdi Diocese, expressed sincere gratitude to Hungary helps their partnership with the church through FJDP. Commemorating his birthday, he not only shared food but also distributed drinks and snacks, showing a brief yet meaningful celebration amid the challenges faced by the IDPs.
The coordinator conveyed deep appreciation to Hungary Helps for their steadfast support, facilitated through FJDP, in providing essential provisions for the displaced persons.
