The UNHCR Deputy Country Representative (Protection), Bernadette Muteshi, paid a visit to the Ikyogen refugee settlement with the aim of assessing the work done by FJDP, one of the UNHCR implementing partners, to find ways of improving the lives of forcibly displaced persons.
Highlights of the visit included the supervision and commissioning of various projects carried out by FJDP with support from UNHCR.
Efforts to mitigate malnutrition risks among displaced persons in Ikyogen refugee settlement were evident with the commissioning of the '#Sweet Mama Meal Formula,' made from locally sourced nutrient-rich grains, and the Child-Friendly Space constructed by UNHCR Nigeria and managed by FJDP.
Many thanks to UNHCR for her continued support, and heartfelt acknowledgment to FJDP for their invaluable partnership and funding support.
