Earlier today, the FJDP conducted a comprehensive shelter needs assessment and profiling exercise at Naka Camp in Gwer West LGA.
The living conditions of forcibly displaced persons in the camp have been far from ideal, with makeshift tents constructed from sticks and mosquito nets serving as their only shelter.
These living conditions are far from conducive for the displaced individuals.
In collaboration with UNHCR Nigeria, the FJDP is dedicated to improving their living conditions by providing them with better temporary shelters. This needs assessment is a crucial step in our mission to assist and uplift the lives of these displaced individuals, offering them a more suitable place to rest their heads.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to UNHCR for their support for these displaced persons.
