The project ‘Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE)’ is a USAID-funded project that is implemented by Palladium in collaboration with Nigeria Resource Partners (RPs) including CARITAS Nigeria and Catholic Diocese of Makurdi, Foundation for Justice, Development and Peace (FJDP).
The project seeks to enhance local civil society organizations’ ability to be positive and responsible change agents in Nigeria. The goal of the project is to “improve public accountability, transparency, and sustainable service delivery in Nigeria”.
The project was implemented for a period of 1year and ended in 2022.
Following the SCALE project follow-on grant approval by Palladium for another performance period of one year, Caritas Nigeria kick started the project implementation with an inception meeting at Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Durumi 1, Garki, Abuja. FJDP being one of the resource partners was represented by the Administrative Manager and the Linkage and Referral Officer.
After reflections on SCALE Year 1 project implementation, strategies in implementation of Year 2 were developed. Also, project Milestones, Deliverables and Indicators were discussed.
