PROMIC
FJDP Makurdi is breaking the vicious circle of poverty amongst the poorest people through the “Promoting Micro Enterprises for Efficient Poverty Reduction (PROMIC)”, a project funded by Swiss hand Switzerland.
Agric Promic therefore strengthens and encourages farmer's seasonal savings developments of micro-enterprises for products or strategy for products marketing that has improved the livelihood of peasant farmers in Makurdi Diocese and the entire Northern Nigeria.
In the past years FJDP Agric Promic has always disbursed loans to farmers to enable them increase their farms or even start afresh as well as other businesses.
This year FJDP Makurdi organized a sensitization programme for beneficiaries of her loans to enable them utilize the funds to be collected very well. St Augustine’s church Demekpe within the diocese benefited with 30 individuals disbursed loans.
Some of the businesses among many others of those who have received loan from FJDP were monitored today by FJDP Agric Promic coordinator and are observed to be doing well and grateful to FJDP.
