FJDP was at Jato Aka Kwande Local Government Area of Benue state on the 21st march, 2023 to celebrate with the IDPs on the International Women's Day 2023, theme DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.
The IWD was Marked globally on the 8th March, 2023 however, fjdp could not reach out to the IDPs on the said date but have chosen a suitable date to mark the day with them and enlighten them more on the rights and worth of women in the society.
Active participation by the IDPs varies from
1. Focus group (FGD) discussion with men and women
2. Dance presentation
3. Drama presentation showcasing the importance, achievement and role of women in the society.
4. Awareness session on women's rights.
It was a fund filled celebration.
