To commemorate the International Day of Peace, FJDP extended a warm visit to one of the IDP camps in Benue. During our time there, we engaged in meaningful conversations with the IDP children, sharing with them the significance of this day.
During our interaction with the IDP children, we shared the essence of this day. Here's their message, as they displayed the peace sign:
"We want peace. Ever since we were forced to leave our homes, there has been no peace. Returning seems impossible due to the threats we face daily, but with peace, we can find hope again."
Even the youngest voices among us are united in their plea for peace in Benue. Let us join hands and make it a reality.
