FJDP joins UN agencies to Commemorate International Day of Peace with IDP in Benue State
As part of the activities to mark the international day for peace, FJDP UNHCR, UNDP, UNICEF, WHO and other CSO marked the day identifying and reintegrating the indispensability of peace the world over.
High point of the day saw the signing of the Peace Commission Bill into law by Governor Samuel Ortom at the Benue People's House Makurdi.
Recall that FJDP in collaboration with UNDP, Misereor Germany, WANEP and other organizations has been advocating for, and supporting establishment of this commission in Benue State through radio programs and other engagements since 2021.
