Needs of IDPs are regularly very high, considering also nutritional status and seasonal challenges, multi-displacements and also perilous conditions.
Regardless of how, FJDP continues to assess the needs and gaps and ensure to provide support in the best ways possible.
Yesterday at Uikpam IDP Camp, Guma LGA of Benue State, FJDP Supported Three Hundred (300) IDPs with Food assistance targeted to the Aged and Malnourished children with funded support from The Mother of Mercy Charitable Foundation San Francisco, USA.
Items distributed to the Beneficiaries include Beans, Custard, Tom brown( Cerel recipe), Sugar and Milk.
The distribution process was a huge success and different partner organizations in Benue State National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and IDPs, Nigeria RED CROSS Society, Children of Rural Africa (CorAfrica), Benue State Emergency Management Agency and Traditional leaders were on ground to witness the exercise.
