FJDP visited the Agagbe Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp situated within the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.
This visit was aimed at conducting a comprehensive sensitization program focused on human rights awareness and providing crucial legal aid support to the individuals residing within the camp.
Within the heart of Agagbe IDP camp, our team embarked on a mission to educate and empower the residents on their fundamental human rights, giving them a deeper understanding of their entitlements and protections under the law. Through interactive sessions and workshops, we endeavored to equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary to assert their rights and navigate legal complexities effectively.
The team visit was not solely dedicated to enlightenment but also to extending tangible support through legal aid services. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by those displaced in Gwer West, we endeavored to provide tailored assistance, offering guidance, legal counsel, and advocacy to address their specific needs and concerns.
Together, we strive to create a more just and equitable society where every person's rights are respected, protected, and upheld.
