The MFT visited the hotspot area
where refugees and asylum seekers are living to have an interface with them. The security village in Oron LGA is one of those areas.
Also, an advocacy visit was carried out to the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) stationed at Marina in Oron LGA to appreciate their effort in ensuring that refugees have access to safe territory
As part of continuing a good and peaceful collaboration with the community, the MFT proceeded to Esit Eket and Eket LGA for a courtesy visit to the village heads.
The team appreciated them for the support that they and their community members have been rendering refugees, asylum seekers, and the staff of FJDP and to also strengthen the relationship between all stakeholders.
