Awe Local Government Council of Nasarawa state allocates Field Office to FJDP to optimize resilience building interventions in the state.
In an interactive session, the Chairman of council applauded Misereor and FJDP Nigeria for targeting the LGA with Psychosocial, livelihood inclusion and local security resilience interventions, highlighting that the local government authority and that of Guma LGA in Benue state have started a joint security forum that is self sustained.
The information officer who released the register of beneficiaries of economic inclusion into government Programmes stated that the advocacy was key in helping beneficiaries access support to rebuild their lives following protracted adverse experiences of armed conflicts.
The local authorities have called on FJDP to support their local initiatives to become self sustained. These were outcomes of internal evaluation mission to to Kanje, Madaki and January communities where the project is domiciled.
